Sorry to hear about your upset.

Have you tried getting a sheet of paper and putting fors and against down and making a list of each. It can help think straight:) good luck

Also thanks to op who suggested scalding porridge before you go to bed and heating with milk the next day. Saves time money and tastes fine:)
Good morning Elite. Miserable and grey out there this morning, I was looking at the screen and someone cut the light, it's getting progressively darker :eek::eek:

Good luck Bananababe - sounds like he's suddenly realised what is going on and is panicking!

Good Morning from Inverness train station lol. It's going to be a long day travelling as I won t get home tim about 8 this evening. It's surprising how much cheaper train travel is when one splits the journey and depends on the timing etc. Inverness to Crewe was £129 one way:eek: but when I booked Inverness to Glasgow then Glasgow to Crewe it was £60. Mind you I do have a 4 hour wait in Glasgow but that's no real hardship :)
Morning Emerald, you might have a 4 hour wait but you also have an extra £69 to spend

It s quick to get to Chester from Wrexham nowadays along the bypass It s only about 10 minutes most of the time. Yes Wrexham is much improved for shopping.:)

Oh you mean from Crewe to Wrexham lol Yes it takes about an hour but when you save about £30 its worth it :D

Hi celebrate, it's nice to see that you are still with us. Don't worry about old age, I'm sure I've seen it somewhere recently that 50 is the new 30!:D
Anyway, today is my birthday and I have reached the grand old age of 45. Nowhere near as old as dotty, Artha and Nanny L, however probably a very similar age to most of the Elite.
Having read about 20,000 posts over the last few weeks, my impression is that most of us are in the age group 40 - 60.

After having a very quick catchup noticed the post above and would like send belated Birthday Wishes:beer:to you SFSB and say I am not quite old enough to be your Nannylala;) but certainly could be your Mum so I shall be keeping an eye on you:rotfl::rotfl:

I'm sitting outside my exam hall. Starts at 10 so time for last minute cramming

There is a big sada next door so if anyone wants to find me a glitch in the next 4 hours that would be great
