My oven light works, but I don't use it, the acrid smell of burning does the job just fine.

A smell that you are well acquainted with :p

:rotfl::rotfl: That's a bit like my DH. He uses the smoke detector as a signal that his bacon is crispy :p

Have fun when you do go I am sure she would have wanted that :D

Thanks Dotty. :) You will all have to do a sun dance for me nearer the time please as don't know if anyone remembers Debsjc posting pic of my wellies stuck in the mud at the festival last year.

Was quite surreal Paloma Faith on stage in a beautiful long dress and us all stood in our waterproofs and wellies. :D

Although our usual Purbeck camping was better weather. Might go further afield next year now that I don't have to stay so close to home. ;)

I never let anything go. :rotfl:

I just remember going in the next morning and telling them about it not expecting for one minute it was going to arrive. We had a good laugh about it. ;)

Mine was a DTD finest one a few weeks back. There was glitchy gammon last week as well but Ive not seen it mentioned for a few days, so that must be over. Sorry, don't know any more than that

I would have loved to try this recipe last week but only the smoked gammon was glitching and I don't like smoked. Was your DH surprised at you culinary skills Fairclaire?

I do that with Yorkshire puds

But I use a torch too as my oven light hasn't ever worked

I haven't got a see through door so have to guess when mine are done.
