PS. Those short links you posted are 't allowed. I know i'm closing the door after the horse has bolted because it's since been quoted by others. Just wanted to point it out so people are aware ;)

Unless the rules have changed recently, posting "Vote for Me" comps is not allowed on the MSE boards either ;)

Just came in from a lovely afternoon tidying up the garden. Repotted a few plants and cleaned all the paths. not feeling very good as i have a sore throat and am losing my voice. also feeling down about various personal things that I can't discuss here.
Did 2 woopsie runs to Tesco. Got 2 hanging baskets 55p each, 7 bunches of flowers less than £5.00, Satsuma's 25p and some Goats cheese things wrapped in bacon. It says not to freeze but sure I can.
dtd Gammon in evidence in my local but no point in trying as they will only tell a load of lies and fob me off. 2 joints been there looking at me all week.
Hope everyone had a nice day

And a bit of an odd one to ask advice about. My DD was on Facebook this morning and told me about a new group that has opened called " Rate a S+++- and the name of our town. It is obviously run by someone quite young and is quite explicit. Now there are a couple of very explicit quotes about the 13 year old daughter of my neighbour. I know if it was my daughter I would want to know but i am not sure I should tell her parents. What do you think?

Hi Rose, sorry you're feeling down and poorly. Hugs :A

Regarding FB. I have a 13 year old daughter and Id want to know!! Id say if you get on well with your neighbour, tell her. As long as you make sure she knows its because you're concerned about her daughter and what's been said. Theres too many stories of people taking advantage of young girls. Better safe than sorry I say!

    Why £4.34?

9 items (8 different) on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Sainsbury's

    +£3.71CheaperSignBlue.gif
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Tomato Soup (400g)£0.24£0.24
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Vegetable Soup (400g)£0.24£0.24
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Sparkling Water (2L)£0.19£0.17
1 x ASDA Bakery Cookies Oatmeal & Raisin Cookies (5)£1.00£0.50
    1 x Cadbury Curly Wurly (5x26g)£1.28£1.00
    1 x ASDA Smartprice Pork Pies (4 per pack - 440g)£1.05£1.05
    2 x ASDA Power Scourers (6)£3.96£1.80
    1 x Wall's Mini Twister Ice Lollies (8x50ml)£2.00£1.25
    Comparison total£9.96£6.25

I do like to cut it fine:rotfl::eek:... Shop done just before 4pm today. Used that store that has the water at 19p rather than 17p in every other store I know (one price in thousands that isn't the same in every store) - never matters though, as always shows the price I paid on the APG - and the two pence on the voucher rather than paying two pence less in the first place - it's the same enough for me.

Offers at Sains. (on the Cookies, Curly Wurly and the Mini Twisters) due to end 11/6 - so probably over if you wait till tomorrow night. Nestle trigger cones worked (but do remember to buy at least eight other different items:D).

Been splitting the soups (the actual number we need to last) among different comparisons so counting as one - or two! - different items each time.

Reminds me - by the way the Heinz soups (not these SP), 400g individual tins, are now 89p each and no m'buy in A - I got (four different) varieties of them - one of each - last time vs Waities (4 for £3 in W), multi didn't come off instore but was still on SEL - so refunded to the £3 price.

And then... well, afterwards, I checked that receipt and...oh, every comparable item vs Ws giving something towards the APG! It had the soups at 89p each (the price I'd originally paid) and compared vs W 75p each (4 for £3 'offer'). Well, the CS who knocked them off and gave the SEL multibuy price (no £2 GC apparently any more:() crossed all of them on my original receipt:eek:. Voucher for only just over £1 though (which is what it should have been, as other items such as a Jif Lemon A 20p vs W 20p on the shopping) - had no problem having that voucher taken off towards my above shop today. Key is use the SA who congratulated you on the amount of your (much larger) voucher last time!:rotfl::):)

I just looked up that page. That is awful! I'm not sure if you should tell them or not. How do you think they would react if they knew about it? If you're friendly with them maybe make them aware of the page but don't mention you've seen their daughter's name on it?

Feeling lonely :o You look forward to them going away & giving you 'me' time, but after a while you begin to miss them ♥

Hope everyone had a lovely Sunday.

Fair Claire pleased you had a great day :D

Neighbours 2 doors up told next door this morning they would be having a family BBQ party today & be careful with washing on line - what does next door horrid neighbour do?
Spends today smashing up his patio :( the noise has been really intrusive. Must of ruined their party :(
Then he has cheek to shout at a different neighbour that their dogs are barking

I can't believe stuff like that is allowed on fb, surely it should be removed.

Flo I agree, I would be mortified at that age having that cr*p posted about me. I reported that page to FB and the other one associated with it.
