TS, you had an ex called stumpy? How unfortunate is that for a nickname for a bloke, poor man!
Well done FC's lad! Perhaps he could start to offer a courier service across the county taking my laundry to you?
And who's going to want me in charge of their laundry after yesterday's shenanigans :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Hi - I'm putting two and two together - is this the same Silver Spoon - does this mean Avs Morries for 10% off 88p? Assuming it compares:(.
And - trust me to pick out the tiny small things - I notice T have the Giant Refresher bar at 10p for M. Is this the one returning on APG at 10p A vs 12p M (and at 10p in my M store) - if so, should be returned to T as well as they've done you out of a refund vs A on that too:D?

Sound like a pro there izzey what about having your [STRIKE]accomplice[/STRIKE] friend with them in a basket waiting for said trout to go running to the aisle and then they will be clear to go through ss
A lesson well learnt David.
Plus said trout usually makes a big fuss attracting more trouts and before you know it you are in the middle of a trout farm -best just to 'restock' some and go back at the opposite end of the day:)
I always go through the SS till with 1p or 4p items.0 -

Evening all
The sun shone this afternoon but no power in it at all. Quite windy today too.
Friend/handy man has been today and I am proud owner of a retractable washing lin. The shoe rack has been fitted in my new wardrobe and mirror, picture frame and curtain rail up in guest bedroom. He also sorted out wonky screws in door hinge and put a nice new ceiling rose up.
In payment he has gone away with a few bits from store cupboard, some t's cheese I don't really fancy trying and lots of hoops and crosses.
On top of this he has got my printer working again:T
I am exhausted now so after I have watered the garden I am goingnto enjoy the evening sun from the inside of my patio doors where it is nice and warm.

Thanks for all the support guys. The missus' job is safe but hours have been cut. Phew!
It could bave been so much worse. At least she can look for something else a bit more leisurely now than if she was out the door
It's going to be tight but i know all you clever people (and davemorton) will help us save cash wherever possible
Really pleased your wife's job's safe aau1. Bet that's a weight off your mind.0 -
I think the Ceka one (god knows what that means) is the one that's in a kind of box with a lid, IYSWIM
This one?

The free range medium sized eggs compare ok T vs A.
I think that's same enough for me:). So it (the Silver Spoon) is Avs M then, potentially.
Sorry - not adding it to my list as 80p for 750g is over my price limit. 2kg/5kg bags working out cheaper per unit. [Edit: looks, tentatively, like another one they've missed:(.] But... can anyone tell us if the £3 Elvive Colour is comparing to Ms?1 x Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar (750g)£0.86N/A
