Evening all, belated happy birthday to Iamsohappy, hope you've enjoyed your special day.

Aau1, not a nice position to be in. Half of my married life was spent with ex in redundancy, so fully understand your concerns. Hopefully tomorrow will bring good news from employees and management.

A's at work was devoid of cadburys, :( shelf space, but empty. So none in this household.

    Good night one and all.

the pot I cant help with, cant remember how to get it to stand but it would have to be weighty like clay? but you use the stuff for flower arranging (cant remember what its called) and cover it with foil and that's what you attach the stick/icing to. I am sure there is a thread about it on special occasions board, have a look x

edited to say, is it called oasis????????

    Oasis
Edit: oh, see you remembered! :D

    don't you mean ETC. ;)

my grammar and spelling is terrible, I'm only kidding.

    No!
Why? It's short for et cetera, hence the obligatory dot after the c. No need for capitals.:D

    Due to that.

Good evening, all. Catch up time then a report (another) to finish. I'm going to be up all night!

Aaul - I'm really sorry to hear of your situation. Hopefully it will all be a scare and your wife's job will be safe. Even so, I'd look elsewhere with more security whilst still working. IMO it is always good to have your next job lined up. It gives you options no matter what happens.

    Good luck.

    I want to make this

    25479f6d40781e7bee39f6285e2dda33.jpg

How would I get all the sweets on there like that?

I would use a foam ball and using toothpicks stick some sweets in and in the gaps glue the rest in with a little bit of water. Making cupcakes tonight, might add a few Haribo now :)

To aau1: I really hope that they (management) accept that solution and it works out for you both. My mother was made redundant last year after being told her job was going to Belfast and it never did in the end, but they wouldn't let her resume her old job. I know it's not an easy position to be in :(

To Iamsohappy: Hope you had a lovely birthday! :T
