If you were cooking the tea, like you should have been, instead of making the poor man cook it, while he should have been sitting with his feet up, it would never have happened, all your fault really!

That could be construed as child cruelty. Im sure I read somewhere children need to be well fed :D

Good evening, all. Catch up time then a report (another) to finish. I'm going to be up all night!

Aaul - I'm really sorry to hear of your situation. Hopefully it will all be a scare and your wife's job will be safe. Even so, I'd look elsewhere with more security whilst still working. IMO it is always good to have your next job lined up. It gives you options no matter what happens.

    Good luck.

Exactly. If she escapes this time her team will likely be first in the firing line if redundancies come around again

    I want to make this

How would I get all the sweets on there like that?
Sorry to jump in, but I've recently made some sweetie trees. A ferrero rocher one and 2 lollipop ones. I used cocktail sticks for the ferrero rocher tree.
One of the main things is that your tree will be top heavy, so you need something in the pot that will hold the stick really tight, also the weight of the sweets will push the ball down whatever you use as a stick, so you need to make sure you don't make the hole too big or keep putting it on and off the stick.
If you use oasis, you could try wrapping the ball very tightly in cling film and using melted chocolate or very stiff icing to stick the sweets to the ball.
When you add the sweets to the ball make sure you do it evenly across the ball so the weight is distributed as you cover the ball - the first lollipop tree nearly went out the window cos it kept tipping over :rotfl:
utube has some demonstrations videos which might help too.

well Ive been busy with washing, trying to make my house not smell of burnt dinner and a poor child who needed an extra sleepy tablet due to the trauma of having no pyjamas:eek::o I'll get round to buying some ;)

I do hope you managed to locate some pj's for your ds2 by bedtime.

Trouble is while weather is good we concentrate on washing and drying clothes
Not worrying if there are any available to wear when needed.
Hopefully the extra sleepy tablet will mean you don't have to gaurd the door to trampoline tonight. Sounds like an ironing day for you tomorrow but atleast that way you get a weekend free of ironing.
Huge pile of ironing here as unpacked clothing put away for the renovations. Don't knoe if I like some it anymore but I bet I iron it before deciding I don't like it and throw it away.
Soon I will have literally nothing to wear it is getting that bad.

Glad your manic afternoon has calmed down considerably since your husbands visitor earlier. Was ds2 ok eating burnt dinner?
    Vx
