I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

so....the sun is shining. :j but I also have a chimney breast that Ive bought wallpaper for in DDs bedroom. Do I really want to be wallpapering on a sunny day?
No, I'll leave the wallpaper for another day. Thinking it might take me longer to clear a path to the wall than it will to hang the wallpaper!! Sunshine it is
Have a good day all!0 -

Now, I should leave it at that since explanations often compound matters. Although no-one had expressly said they were offended, it's probably me failing to see between the lines and pick it up.
I already gone to look at the definitions of "arrogance" and it's been a very insightful experience for me. I've now reached such a complex position that it would take pages to tell you what that is, and would also take us way off-topic of what this thread is supposed to be, so I'll leave it at that. For the moment though - probably just a short reply from me to something from earlier when I come back this evening.
Have a good day.:):)
It's a shame but you're right in that this thread isn't the place for that kind of debate. I too, SB, have looked deep into the self-confidence / arrogance debate. It can take you to places you never knew existed. Unfortunately, I always seem to arrive at a very simple lesson that I've learnt. It's almost like a Newtonian law or something along the lines of:
It is OK to show people that you are everything in life, and brag about everything you have achieved, just not intelligence.
People will thank you for pointing out their shoelace is undone - they won't for you pointing out their spelling, punctuation, grammar, mathematical error etc.
Anyway, I'm stopping now before I go too deep! :rotfl:I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Thanks, FC. I have edited to reflect your wishes. Reading back it did seem better for the masses.
I very rarely edit my posts as I like to speak from the heart so-to-speak.
PS - I prefer a capital N at the start and only three dots for an ellipses before your 'as if'.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
