Good morning, all. It's turned a bit cooler this morning hasn't it?!
I had a relaxing night last night going round the supermarkets with sis. I saw the salt and pepper pots people mentioned so managed to get two at £1.75 each. I thought you were all on about the ones at £16.50 for the set, which I bought, and were carp. These ones don't look as good, but will hopefully do the job much better!
Downstairs toilet is coming on well. Walls boarded and all areas bricked up. Plumbing and electrics going in today. Dad painted all my fences with Creocote and Diesel - they look the bees!Thankyou to everyone who helped with the Gammon glitch, got a 3.1kilo smoked joint for about £6 after PP. :j Around £2 kilo.
Dr Dre Beats - After listening to both fakes and the real deal, when you son is merely going to be listening to poor quality .mp3s probably too loud, he won't know the difference. It's all about brand imagery. My wireless Sennheiser are far superior and were 1/3rd the price. :T
Right- off for a more detailed catch up then I must get back to work! In a bit.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I love you savvy:heart2: and i am bossy so you you have to listen to me
Good morning all.:) I don't want to get bogged down in all this and got to go to work soon. Lightheartedly my thought is "...but will they be fine after my long explanation?":o. I apologise to anyone offended.
Now, I should leave it at that since explanations often compound matters. Although no-one had expressly said they were offended, it's probably me failing to see between the lines and pick it up.
I already gone to look at the definitions of "arrogance" and it's been a very insightful experience for me. I've now reached such a complex position that it would take pages to tell you what that is, and would also take us way off-topic of what this thread is supposed to be, so I'll leave it at that. For the moment though - probably just a short reply from me to something from earlier when I come back this evening.
Have a good day.:):)0 -
Education guide for creator (no doubt a women). Ultra Safe is not safer than "safest" by its very definition. The column is in the wrong place and makes the joke poor.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I'm going to go to Mr Ts and spend that 2p. Caution be damned!
Sorry if I created a stir!
(Thanks also to TM, Lutzi1, frequent, midwinter.....y'know what? You're all great. My coat is firmly on the back of the chair xx)Rather rude SB.
EMMAP your input is helpful, thank you.Savvybuyer wrote: »Me rude and fairclaire bossy now! Speaking my mind perhaps... noticed my post though got more thanks than some around it, so must have said something right:). None of it was to suggest that EMMAP's input wasn't helpful - on the contrary, usefully told us of some Mum and Me products at Boots. Thanks EMMAP!:)
Right, back later folks. (Tonight sometime with any luck.):):)Originally Posted by lutzi1

On this whole topic. Whilst I agree that some tolerance is required and people do have to learn to get along, I think it is important that others also make the effort. Why would Savvy, who like my DS2 is different, have to learn and move towards someone else's opinions and rules when they are unwilling to learn about him and his.
Because I have bothered to learn, because I've had to, I understand that SB meant absolutely no malice in his post whatsoever and I actually chuckled at it when I read it. I understand the support coming out then to back EMMAP but to be fair, I think SB deserved some too. Take time to learn about one another. We are all different. Don't just expect one half of the equation to change to meet the other. Ignorance is not an excuse.

As I said I shouldn't have posted this reply, although I find myself inescapably drawn into doing so, and this shouldn't be a distraction away from the aim of this thread.
Right folks, back to the things that should matter more such as everyone contributing to helping other's save money.
Yes you SHOULD have posted this reply. I'm just sorry I wasn't on last night to back you up SB. DOn't ever apologize for your condition. It is up to others to learn, Hell, you've told everyone on this thread so they should know.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
