I am now wanting to get some sunflowers planted for my DH he loved them ,I have been rummaging amongst my breakfast seed as often you get them amongst the other seeds but no luck will have to go and buy some ;)Like someone mentioned previously my DH used to plant straight in the ground so i shall follow suit and put 2 in and name them Mr&Mrs Nannylala.

Good morning all - another lovely day. Thank you Snap for the lovely new thread and all the pics - It is wonderful. I have not been able to clock in until now due to catching up with some much needed out doorsy stuff. The wind had caused so much damage round here both to fences and stuff and also the plants had suffered badly. It has taken the last couple of days to put things right.

Makes a change to have decent weather on a bank holiday - hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

Special thoughts for those having a hard time - will pop back later:)

Hope you are all having a great bank holiday weekend. :D

I have been busy catching up on jobs in the garden that have not been done for a couple of years - scarifying front lawn and back (a bit late I know but weather not been good enough til now). So we don't bounce across it now - thatch out (but mostly moss). A couple of overgrown shrubs trimmed (severely :)). Husband never bothers edging lawn after mowing - so speedwell and moss grown into 2 borders  - all gone :). So hopefully planting today.

By the way hubby went into Morries yesterday and Pimms on offer at £10 for the litre bottle.
I couldn't drink last year and still had 2 bottles left from washout summer the year before (these were £10 bottles but think they were 70cl - so this is a bargain). ... he couldn't resist and brought 2 more.:rotfl: There is also a special edition one amongst the offer bottles - blackberry and elderflower. (Pimms is written in purple and has blackberry and butterfly on the label). So if you are wanting to try a different one - fill your boots. If you want the normal one then chose your bottle carefully. HTH

Edit - think this offer may be for bank holiday weekend only so today the last day.

    Greetings from Cornwall

Thanks Snap for the new thread, I will try to keep up with this one.

Please can we have a nice glitch at Mr T, as Penzance or Helton are the nearest supermarkets and they are both Mr T

    See you later happy glitching.
