I'm quite a distance away but think we may hear it up here:rotfl::rotfl:
Brings back memories of staying with a Welsh friend at their parent's caravan in Rhosneigr many years ago. The caravan seemed to be in an idyllic spot close to the beach until you realised (by the noise of course) that it was close to the end of one of the takeoff runways at RAF Valley:eek: The noise of a Vulcan bomber or Lightning fighter taking off explained why rents were very low:rotfl::rotfl:

OH is plane mad and we went to an air show in the Lake District last year. The Vulcan came over Lake Windermere and scared the ***t out of me. OH found it amusing:eek::mad::p

Sorry Bubbs, must have missed it. I have just used the cheapest I can get, dont think it really matters, and as much salt as I can dissolve in it when it is hot Bubbs. Smells just like home made chutney, mmmmmmmmm.

I've made a few phone calls and it definitely sounds as if one of the boards has gone.:(
One said Y sus board!! one said motherboard. Either way it's gonna cost around £300 to fix. :(:(
I can get a board for around £70, but most repairers want that just to have a look at it.

    How old is it ?

We hired one when we were living abroad and when it had been for awhile the picture got smaller and smaller until it was just a thin band across the middle.:D

I've been quite lucky- I live near a now disused airfield in Bristol where everything came and went, Concorde, spitfires, red arrows, tornadoes, you name it. My dad used to work there so we used to go to the annual air days, and I worked for 10 days at the air tattoo at Fairford, which has given me some fantastic geeky moments :D

We had a plasma and went to an lcd but I would go back to a plasma next time. I think the picture on the plasma was much better, I would go back to a panasonic plasma in a heartbeat.
