Hi, i been a Tmobile Customer for over a year now, on basic £10.50 - 300min - 300 texts - 500mb data, but unlimited browsing , emailing

was capped at 4mb download, when i complained they said we dont cap, then few hours later i started to get faster speeds ?? , i since got a galaxy s4 and my speed is great, think its cause of DC-HSPA , i get constant 10-18mb download and i can tether fine even if not supposed to but i dont use it much at all but good to know

so i wanted to try to get unlimited data , so i called retentions , was hoping the offer they had few weeks ago £16 unlimited data didnt care for minutes really as long its 300mins, didn't even try to give me a better deal, just asked if i wanted same deal again £10.50 12 months contract start again whats the point of that ? and gave me PAC code,

he said i was getting a good deal as now they dont do unlimited browsing so once data is used up thats it.

im looking at Three which are doing £15.90 600mins - 5000 texts - unlimited data which is really unlimited and would get 4g when its out for no extra cost

I got a Three pay as you go sim to test and quite impressed 5mb-9mb download which is fine enough

only choice is three for me then

Thanks

Three don't allow tethering on anything but the One plan - I used it fine for months (and downloaded xxxGB's in that time!) but then one day I just got a message coming up saying "nope, you can't tether" whenever I tried!

Think you answered your own point there. I suspect using tethering occasionally flys below the radar or they turn a blind eye, using xxx GB's probably soon got their attention, and resulted in your sim being blocked from further tethering.

Its also probably down to people downloading xxxGB via tethering which is resulting in more and more service providers removing / blocking the facility.........
