I upgraded April 5th to the Note 2 lte with T Mobile. I am happy so far....
This week I received a call from T Mobile about moving to EE at no extra cost and 1.5gb of internet. I was unable to discuss it then, but not heard anything more.
Anyone else been offered this?
As EE is a different network, will they offer me a like for like or better tariff for the same price AND 4g? (Currently Full Monty 36 for £27 p mth)

I have enough money to last me the rest of my life... unless I buy something.

Hi,
They can migrate you over FOC.
The tarriff you mentioned is the EE36 plan- usually comes with 750mb of data but can double it in some cases for existing customers.
Depending on how far you are into your current contract, you may need to restart it.
And the discount might carry over, depending on what type it is. % loyalty discounts carry over, £ ones don't.0 -
It's not a different network, just a different brand. T Mobile and Orange use the same infrastructure. EE is the parent name, and they are using it for their 4G services.0

Technically it is a different network , only EE 4G currently uses the LTE network run by EE.
T-Mobile and Orange brands are currently still only on the amalgamated 3G UMTS network.====0 -
You'll lose your discount. You'll lose 'unlimited' data. You'll start a new 24 month term.
I'd think very carefully about the switch and ask the person telling you about it as many relevant questions and request that they put the answers in an email to you.0 -
Thanks for the input.
Have not heard anything more from that particular representative. Spoke to another one who says the only tariff that would match what I was offered is £41.Hell freakin no!
Not sure where the incentive is as if I wanted to pay ridiculous amounts of money to EE, I would have done so at the time of my upgrade.
Only just secured my loyalty discount after my first Tmob contract so not willing to lose it after 6 weeks. If this person calls back we'll see....I have enough money to last me the rest of my life... unless I buy something.0 -
A friend of mine on TMobile recently got a shock when she called another friend also on Tmobile, who had "upgraded" and was now on EE. They thought it was all the same network and calls would be included under "unlimited calls to Tmobile". Now been charged £22 for one call.0
