Two broadband accounts at the same address?

Options
Hello,

Does anyone know what happens if there are two broadband accounts at the same address, presumably using the same physical landline? Since BE and o2 customers are all moving to sky, I've had two 'Welcome to sky' letters - one for me as I'm with o2, and another for someone I've never heard of who is apparently with BE. I tried emailing sky and they seem incapable of answering emails without an account number... (or at least they take more than 2 weeks to do so!). It's fine at the moment, but I imagine some wires will get crossed once sky have control of both accounts, and they're not exactly filling me with confidence at the moment!

Thanks,
Rosemary

You can't have two genuine broadband accounts on the same line but it is completely possible for Sky to have an error in their marketing database listing multiple accounts. Be/O2 used the same network and exchange equipment anyway.
