Booking flights early

Morning all

My partner and I have decided to get married in June 2014 in Cyprus, and we are just sorting out the invitations.
We are going to include lots of details about flights and accommodation, to make it easy for those a bit apprehensive about travelling, I know the holidays have opened up booking to get free child places, but it doesnt seem like the airlines have yet.
As far as i can see the airlines that fly from Gatwick to Larnaca are BA, Thomson, Monarch, Thomas Cook and Easy Jet some of these allow bookings up to end of March 2014, others November 2013.
Does anyone have a rough idea of when summer 2014 flights are released?

Thanks for any help :j

They could but that would rely on at least one guest coming, or the registrar doing the filming!! :p

Olympic holidays do flights to Larnaca from Gatwick that you can't book yet, and Thomson are allowing summer flight bookings now through https://www.firstchoiceairways.co.uk

I thought the whole point in getting married abroad is to keep it small and get away from all of the family and friends. It seems a little unfair to plan an overseas wedding and expect all of your guests to incur the costs of flights and hotels just to see you getting hitched.

Most people who I know who have got married abroad have had a very private ceremony then had a big party when they got home.

I bet you're going to be popular with your friends and family. Not.

(proper) Scheduled Airlines release flights 330 days out. "charter" airlines please themselves, so you need to keep checking.

Well we are a cheery bunch aren't we?!

I wasn't asking for approval, just about booking flights early.

The few close family and friends that we have mentioned it to have said that they are looking forward to joining us. No one is making them go, I just wanted to give the full details to those that may like to join us, so that they can make their own decision.

    :)
