Moto garage Exeter VENT

Long drive last Friday, needed Diesel quite late went to badly signposted Exeter Moto services garage, BP I think. So they charge 147.9p for diesel and there isn't even a toilet!!!!
The toilets were taken out to fit a coffee machine!
Just down the road it was 137.9p and the garage was open!
Why do we let these places rip us of?

Shame you didn't know about the large 24 hour Tesco at Exeter Vale which is not far from the services either! Diesel was 134.9 on Thursday.

No one forced you to buy the diesel at gunpoint - plan your journeys better so you have a bit of fuel spare to find a cheaper garage.

No time to plan, had a call that my dad was very ill in Torbay hospital so threw some things into the car and went down, arrived Exeter at 10pm so didn't know any garages that were open.
By the way why is it called Torbay hospital??? Very misleading as Torbay is not in either of the road atlases I have! The hospital is in Torquay.
(Dad died the next day.)

Torbay hospital? Could Torbay be a shorthand for Torquay Bay or an older name for Torquay?

Yes, I know that now but Torbay is not on any road maps and I didn't have internet whilst driving down!!!!

It's called Torbay because it's the main hospital for the "Torbay" area, but know what you mean about finding it if your not local and trying to find departments there is even worse, it's a rabbit warren with rubbish parking!

Same can be said about service stations that charge 20-50% more for food and drink. The Costa foundation should be ashamed of themselves. It's clearly a scam
