Limited period Broadband and Telephone connections

Hi folks!
We're about to move into a new (rented) apartment and are trying to figure out what is the best deal for our Broadband and Telephone connections. The "TALK TALK 3" package looks perfect for us, as I also make alot of work calls during the day, but I've noticed that there is a minimum 18 month contract period. The contract for our apartment is only 6 months and we would therefore be reluctant to sign up for any period longer than this unless there is a reasonable cancellation fee. Does anybody know any good offers that run on 6 month contracts? how much are the usual cancellation fees, ie. "talk Talk3"?
