Anyone with White Mobile?

Hi guys, I got an unlocked phone and I stumbled upon White Mobile as the cheapest PAYG providers at 3p a minute for landline and only 6p for mobile and 5p for txt which is amazing for my needs.

My question is whether they are any good? They are fairly new so not a lot about them is on the internet. I know they use EE. Is EE any good?

I won't be using them for international calls although its nice to have the option there and I can't really see any hidden charges / horrible terms and condition apart from having to top up / use a chargeable service every 60 days or the sim gets locked.

I know giffgaff's phone plan is really good as well but I don't really want to pay monthly for their plans as my usage differs greatly each month and can potentially waste money by paying monthly and their PAYG charges are not as good of White Mobile either.

Thoughts?

I got a couple of sims to try, EE coverage is good where I am, 3G speeds are impressive and the whole package seems good.

I might well use the sim more , if/when I end my T-Mobile contract.

Another option to consider if you have vodaphone signal is Ovivo.

Ovivo give you a free allowance of 150 minutes, 200 texts and 500mb of data each month. If you need more than this, extra calls are something like 8p per minute and extra texts are around 5 or 6p.

When you get the sim, you have to pay £15, but that gets you £15 of credit. If you never exceed your free allowance, you will never need to top up ever again (unless Ovivo go bust).

You need to make a call or text every 3 months to keep the phone active, but as the calls and texts are free this doesn't matter.

I have an Ovivo sim as well ;)

Very good for voice and SMS, data is typical Vodafone though, pretty crap in more places than its good.

Even with an alleged 3G signal it can sometimes be as slow as a snail (even Watchdog has had a report about the state of Vodafone 3G).

Definitely worse than 3UK or any of the EE choices.
