    Phoned their telephone helpline 0870 220 0320.
No news. For orders placed online it takes 24 hours for their system to update & pass info through to the customer service team. The lady suggests phoning back tmorro. They're open until 8pm on Saturday.

Just spoke to my friend that works for customer services at bissell. They wont be able to change the price til tomorrow and all orders at the wrong price will be cancelled.

Its always the same with these things, its hardly worth wasting your time putting in details.

Hi Tally ho, I read the above post. x

The T&C's are on the site for all to see , no need to take a screenshot .

hmm, somethings can change overnight, tak the easyjethotels t&c's. more amendments than a government bill

Both you & I know there was no price displayed against the vacuum. There was just an empty space. But when you ordered it £0.00 was the price they were charging. If it "technically" wasn't for sale why were they advertising it, taking orders for it, checking their database to see if there was stock available then checking everyones card details ?
No word incidentally from the company. I might just give them a ring and see what their position is.

Jeez , do I need to spell it out to you !!

It was not being advertised for sale as there was no price involved at the offers stage . It's fairly obvious to anyone with an ounce of common sense that it was an incomplete website page that had not been updated with the actual facts . You received an automated ID number for your order , this will then be manually checked for stock levels , card authorisation etc . The fact that you received the order ID does NOT mean that the system has instantaneously allocated one to you .

If they cancel it what are you going to use in the T&C's to go after them ?

    Take a look at T&C's section nos 4 & 5 , especially no 5
