Wow!
Just wondering how many t-shirts you can get for £1300.0 -
Agree there's something else going on that the OP hasn't told us about, especially for ASOS to block your account. I've bought and returned loads of stuff in the past few years from there and other than one problem where dpd delivered to the wrong house, had no problems at all.
To send you to paypal/your bank seems to indicate they think you're being fraudulent.
Also £1300 on clothes as a student !!!!!!, stop giving us a bad name. Also I wonder how all those clothes fit in one box, ASOS only have 2 sizes of boxes and neither would fit £1300 worth in unless you spend hundreds per item, which ASOS tees are most definitely not.0 -

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Wow, I haven't spent that much on clothes in more than a decade! And I don't mean a decade ago I spent £1300. I mean in total over the last ten years!0

Ive spoken to the bank and hopefully they will sort it out as there is nothing fraudulent going on. i have provided them with all the evidence.
I know ASOS can be abit more on the pricier side for some things, but spending £1300 on mainly basic items? Something isn't adding up here....
I know once you get that loan, you can basically spend on on anything you like, but isn't it mainly meant to be for food, text books etc? Spending that much on clothes, wow! :eek:0 -
How about getting back to helping, rather than going on about a student spending £1300 on clothes.0

£1300 being the student loan is just annoying people because OP doesn't have to pay that back until they're earning a certain amount and it's being viewed as almost free money.
I think the problem ASOS have is that after buying such a large amount then returning it, something smells fishy. I'm not saying that OP actually did anything wrong or that the refusal to refund is justified, but may be why they're being unhelpful.0 -
Thinking about it, I could not believe that a retail company would accept such a large order so I've had a look at their T&Cs
Sure enough I found this - Under section 6 -
These T&Cs relate to all ASOS promotions, competitions and discount codes (unless otherwise stated).- Only one promotion code can be used per order
- Maximum pre-discount spend limit of £500 applies per order
- Selected brand exclusions may apply
- Maximum 20% off beauty products
- A promotion code can't be used after an order has been placed
