Don't you think it's a little early to make such a judgement, the OP gave an update on the 31st of May, it would still be too early to confidently say that the letter worked so unless the OP has had further contact from the buyer, then there's nothing to update is there?

Sorry for delay
I had a very traumatic time last year and totally forgot to come back and let you know.

You all helped so much and suffice to say letter worked a treat :-)

We still see him driving the van about now :-)
