I was wondering the same as above. Surely it's the same as renting an office space? The person renting you an office space does not have to disclose the home address of the person renting it surely? Or am I missing something?

I doubt I could walk into Debenhams and demand the home address of the Boss so why wouldn't the same rights apply to anyone else?

Many many online marketers who deal in digital products including the most respected names in the industry, six and seven figure earners, use virtual addresses. Do you really think that laptop millionaires are going to put their home address on the internet?

I wonder if for you you could add a user (a pseudonym for yourself) with a different email address and a different mailing address (your virtual one)

But the assumption would be that the office address would be used by staff who are able to deal with your transactions. What you're after is an address to totally separate you from any problems with your transactions. I believe it used to be illegal to operate a mail order business from a third party address.
