which network allows you to receive txts as soon as you buy the paygo card

which network allows you to receive txts as soon as you buy the paygo card, without adding any credit ?

wondering if ppl had any ideas about this

so far i know that t-mobile does

and that lebara mobile does not

    They all do.

    You have to activate the sim first of course.

    i'm not sir

    because from what i believe certain ones require you to top up first

    however, with t mobile, i noticed, you can insert the card and immediately receive texts, even with 0 credit

    I have an active Tesco sim for more than two years and have never topped it up.

    Each have their own policies - orange (for example) don't even provision their SIMs with a valid number - this is done when the credit is applied. What you seek is largely discouraged as this was the source for a good many spam SMS setups (not to send, but for receipt of responses).

    Since there was no link to any top up, tracing who were using them/abusing them was virtually impossible.

    I don't see your link though, adding top up credit via a cash purchase of vouchers would also do what you claim.

    From past experience I can think of T-Mobile, Virgin, 3UK, White Mobile all activating and receiving calls/texts without top up.
