Cornwall in July

I would be extremely reluctant ever to book through Helpful Holidays again based on our current experience.

Obviously with a cottage holiday it is primarily about the property and the location and I hope it will all be lovely in the end but the agency - very poor. I assumed that given they get lots of plaudits but the website is not exactly state of the art that they catered well for people who prefer a cosy personal phone chat to doing it all online. As it happened I did need to phone a couple of times... and that was no better.

Porthleven is my most fav destination in Cornwall. Down towards Penzance There's plenty to do within a short drive, the Lizard Peninsula, Helston, Flambards, Minack Theartre, RN Culdrose, St. Ives, Sennen, etc etc.

Porthleven it's self is pretty, with a lovely harbour and clock tower, a lovely long stretch of sandy beach, where you can walk right along to Loe Bar.


Google it, you won't disappointed.
