Cheap car hire in malaga

I'm also surprised at this! Are Carjet now actually running their own fleet at Malaga?
Carjet are brokers for the car hire firms. Their rate includes ALL insurance, there is no need for them to check the car over before you leave Spain.
I had a car from carjet in Alicante last month, the car actually came from the Auriga desk; when I returned it, I just handed over the keys and that was it.
Good people to use !0 -

11pm is 11 at night, therefore 12 pm must be midnight.
11 am is eleven in the morning, an hour later cannot be 12 pm.
12 midnight is a new day therefore am. 12 noon is afternoon therefore pm.
I explained this concept to my 12 year old son just the other day.

Ah Wilkipedia ! that well know spreader of mis-information.
I put my OP as a bit of fun - however, I must say you are wrong. Midday and Midnight are acceptable terms but 12 am and 12 pm cause confusion; as does 0000 in the 24 hr clock, which is why the military tends to use 2359 or 0001 and ignores 0000.
Could I quote from the Greenwich Mean Time website, perhaps a little more authoritative than Wilkipedia !
"What is Noon and Midnight?
A.M. and P.M. start immediately after Midnight and Noon (Midday) respectively.
This means that 00:00 A.M. or 00:00 P.M. (or 12:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M.) have no meaning.
Every day starts precisely at midnight and A.M. starts immediately after that point in time e.g. 00:00:01 A.M. (see also leap seconds)
To avoid confusion timetables, when scheduling around midnight, prefer to use either 23:59 or 00:01 to avoid confusion as to which day is being referred to.
It is after Noon that P.M. starts e.g. 00:00:01 PM (12:00:01)"

Les D,
That is a very interesting point you make there about the no-excess and one which I will certainly follow up as, like I explained in my posting about Aurigacrown, the queue can be for ages. I did ask all the companies for information and they all had an excess before so either things have changed( which is about time) or I have been mis-informed.0 -
Check out tonysrentacar. Meet and greet at airport, no queues, No excess or petrol rip-off. Used a couple of times. See website or phone for best quote.0

I am aware that Carjet are brokers which is why I asked the question of the OP who mentioned 'Carjet had the keys off us'!
I would also suggest that your quote regarding Carjet that 'their rate includes ALL insurance' is quite misleading. The T&C of each hire will be those of the car hirers. It's true that at Alicante (somewhere I use often), because the market is so competitive, most hirers quote fully-inclusive (except wheels, tyres and glass) prices. But at many locations worldwide which Carjet quote for, the T&C will contain an excess.
e.g. here is an extract from their T&C at Barcelona:
"When you collect the car hire at Barcelona Airport, you'll be asked to leave a credit card deposit to the value of the car hire excess : (Depending on the type of car you select) between EUR 300.00 and EUR 550.00."
Folks booking through brokers need to understand this clearly and not assume that because they have certain T&C at one location, those T&C will apply everywhere.0 -
Not sure how many days your price was for so this may not be any good.
Renault Espace 7 seat £226.10 for 7days. Excess waiver £17.50. Cancellation insurance £5.50. Baby Seat 2 Euros per day payable locally.
If this is of interest use this link which gives 15% discount which is included in the prices above.

Have used this link sucessfully a couple of times.0 -

I must apologise; the OP asked for car hire in Malaga. I didn't realise that I had to point out different Ts & Cs for Barcelona, Bombay and Ulan Bator !
And by the way, they don't charge for one-way hires in Florida and California.0 -
I am going to re-dress my original reply to the OP as my reply was not a direct help to what he asked! Sorry if my original information was worthless.
I checked all the excess on companies and STILL the only company who DO NOT have an excess is Aurigacrown. So if you go direct to them you will pay a higher price than if you use a broker which is no problem.
The company I have been using for some time and who have never let me down are https://www.arrowcars.es
Look on their website or give them a call on the free number as you may get a better rate than the internet price.
Hope this helps and sorry for not giving this information in my original post.0 -

Looks like we were both wrong then if they have no meaning. I got to admit it is very ambiguous but still begs the question.
Whey do major companies from software manufacturers, clock radio manufacturers & even sky TV class midnight as AM & noon as PM. Check your Sky channel bar for programs starting at midnight. Mine says 00:00am. The alarm on my radio alarm clock would have to be set at 12:00 pm to go off at midday. Windows indicates midday as 12:00 PM. Strange eh!
So originally if I had said make sure you return your car after 12:00:01pm that would have been right according to your quote
But in hindsight I should have just said midday to spare the rest of the people on this thread from our difference of opinion!0
