    Afternoon all
I'm off out babysitting in a sec, just thought I'd drop in to give you all a chuckle, many years ago, my son googled CBT, looking to take a motorbike test. To his horror & amazement, he found, not the bike test info & not cog/behavior, but c0ck & ba££ torture!!!

Hester thanks for that - the next time an arrogant Dr tries baffling me with abbreviations, I shall know how to reply!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening all,

Not much from me to add today except ive been to the doctors for the results of my blood test. Ive got an electrolyte imbalance which is causing so many of the problems ive been having recently with my health. Unfortunately its down to one the of the tablets ive been taking for my blood pressure. Such a relief i can tell you to find out its something simple and straight forward.

Err. I'm ashamed to say this but i forgot it is Thursday. Thursday is change/wash bedding day but i thought it was Wednesday..... one of the symptoms ive been experiencing lately is confusion which apparently is down to the electrolyte imbalance.

A big hello to the new faces and also to the regular faces too.

    Have a good evening all,

Sistercas well done on your DD passing her test I bet your both pleased as punch.
Had a nice dinner at DDs tonight and have just got home.Big day tomorrow for me as I see my oncologist and fingers crossed get signed off as being clear and out of remission as my five years are up.
lots of G&Ts tomorrow night hopefully :):):)

Dreadfully sad about that poor young man who died in Woolwich.Bad enough to be killed in action whilst serving your country abroad, but to be attacked in daylight in a surburban street at home seems almost unbelievable.
A devastated Mum has lost her son needlessly and a little boy is fatherless, what is happening in this world in the 21st century. To me life is so precious(especially after my last five and a half years) and every day is a bonus.

For a young man who was a drummer for goodness sake to die so senselessly is just too awful. The 'talking heads' all came out of the woodwork to tut and talk on t.v. about it, but how many more young men on both sides of the arguement are going to die for very little reason. Not only did the soldier die for nothing, the two men who did this dreadful deed have also in effect lost their lives as they will go away(as they should) for a very long time .I wonder if in years to come when, or if, they are ever released they will look back on their wasted lives as well
Good night God bless all here

Just popping in whilst listening to Dixon of Dock Green on iplayer catch up and doing a bit of sewing. Mixed bag of a day today for me. On the plus side got a piece about the Ramsbottom festival on two web pages as well as my own blog. On the minus Sphincter of Oddi playing up and only read a few pages of the crime novel for tomorrow's reading group. Must go though as I haven't been for a couple of times. Also on plus side have planned meals for next two weeks. Tomorrow is toad and then we will have pasta carbonara Sat, pie Sun and possibly Mon (if not scoffed with seconds) or else steak done in the oven. Very cold here and did have to put the heating on as two cardigans and still cold is not good. It's May!!! Garden has erupted but either Sphincter is playing up or it's raining..... Ah well might treatment myself to a coffee tomorrow....... Hope everyone has had a good-ish day and here's to tomorrow!
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
