Issues with catalogues

Hey, I hope someone can help me on here ... My problem is ... I have got 3 catalogues, Littlewoods, Isme & Very. In June last year I was made redundant, I spoke to all 3 catalogues about this and they was very understanding. I started employment again in October and rang the catalogues up to start a payment plan to pay off my debts, this was fine with littlewoods as my debt to them was only £150, I was told that the Isme and Very account would be put together so that I would just have the 1 account to pay which I have been doing £50 in total (£25 each) which is all I can afford. I haven't heard from either Isme or Very until recently when I received a letter from a company called Lowells which are collecting the debt for Isme and NDR which are collecting the debt from Very. I have spoken to both these companies and explained the situation to them and have had a reply back from both which states that no payment plan was put into place and the 2 accounts was never merged which is what I had agreed with them both! I have been paying £50 for both but it has only been going onto the Very account and I have now being charged by both Isme and Very for not paying! I don't know what to do, I don't remember ever receiving a CCA. I apologise if any of this doesn't make sense but I am getting so stressed with it. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thank you

When were the accounts taken out? Before April 2007?
NDR are the same as Very, shop direct internal collectors.
Lowell buy debts usually. But may be acting on behalf of Isme.
Have you checked your credit report to see what's on there?:beer:0 -
thank you for the reply, the accounts was taken out after April 2007 (not sure when but deffinatley after that. How do I check my credit report?0

Have a read of this:

Worth Checking Experan, equifax. Cost £2 each. Also register with Nodde. That ones free.
See how many accounts are on there for the catalogues, what the status is ( e.g. Defaulted) and who owns the account, which is usually the company who reports the entry.
I think you are going to need to write some complaints to get this sorted.
Never speak to NDR or Lowells on the phone, everything in writing.
Did you get the merging of accounts etc in writing?:beer:0 -

I never got anything in writing as they said that they can do it all over the phone ... Stupid of me now I think about it0

You could ask for the conversation recording, but bet its conveniently been deleted. Worth a shot as you are likely to need to complain about this screw up costing you.:beer:0

Who would I complain to? The catalogues or the agencies, it's so confusing0

Likely catalogues. But need to know the status of the accounts to advise you properly, so check the agencies then report back on here.
I've some experience of dealing with NDR, they are both unhelpful and incompetent.
Likely to need to complain to several places, so the credit report info is necessary to know what to ask them to correct, as well as charges etc.:beer:0 -
Ok shall get it checked tomorrow, thank you and I hope that I can get this sorted.0
