should I pre-book seats with jet2?

I am looking at booking a jet2 flight and run into the decision of whether or not to pre-book seats.
I am traveling with my husband and son aged 3 yrs, common sense is telling me that they surely wont allow a 3 yr old to sit unaccompanied if I dont pre-book but am still worried there could be a problem. Has anyone had similar issues - should I be concerned or getting bothered over nothing?:think:

when you check in online you get allocated seat numbers (unless things have changed in the last few months). therefore you can see where you will be sitting. if you don't like the configuration just go back and try again later as usually different seats will be allocated. when I have travelled with another person our seats have been next to each other or directly across the aisle

Seats are allocated automatically when you check in online
If you don't like the ones it offers, just log out without completing the process and try again later until the seats re acceptable.
They won't however let the youngster sit on their own, at l think they automatically allocate them a set next to the lead passenger.
