I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and have been trying to find a way of blocking outgoing video calling. Its on the T Mobile network.Their c/s don't seem to be able to find anything to do this

I find it very easy to occidentally press the video calling button which racks up 40p a minute.I did it yesterday by accident and cost me 40p for 4 seconds.!!

On my O2 video calls are included in the inclusive minutes, that doesn't help you I know, All I can suggest right now is to be more careful.

They do a bundle add on for video call..£2.56 for 10 minutes, but as its something I don't want or will use its just wasted money.I shall have to keep my fingers in check...:D

Can I ask what your "video call" is? I've looked at T-Mobile's web site and see they offer it at a stupid cost...

Myself and my other half use video calling all the time on our iPhones, it's via Apple's Facetime. It works via the data connection... We also send video and still images via iMessage, which also uses the data connection. Using the 3 "One Plan" we have unlimited data use, so no minutes used and no extra charges. The same applies to using Skype.

I understand that T-Mobile may block VOIP calls on some of their plans, which includes Skype, does that mean any similar data use is going to work but at a huge cost to the user?

@ Frozen_up_north..On my Samsung Galaxy Note2 there is a video calling icon at the side of the call icon.If you press it to phone someone a little screen opens.
You can add a bundle of 10 minutes worth of video calls for £2.56,if not and you use it then its 40p a minute.
Its something I won't use/don't want but it can't be blocked so just have to make sure I don't again press it by mistake.
I get inclusive minutes, free landline calls, texts and data in my plan but it doesn't include video calls.
