Real world wet UFH experience?

Hi guys,

New here and looking for some un-biased info on running and living with a wet UFH system.

We have recently bought our first house and it needed a good bit of work so we have set about replacing the old clay and suspended timber floors with concrete.

We have opted for 100mm concrete slab- 100mm Xtratherm insualtion and a 50mm flo screed to get decent response times from the UFH.

Were now at the point of finishing the insulation and need to order the UFH kit but been reading things about modern rads and wondering if im making the right choice with UFH to heat the ground floor.

Has anyone changed from rads to UFH and have you noticed a difference in running costs?

cheers Neil
