The freebies part of the forum can sometimes be the least friendly place out of all the forums on MSE, people just need to chill a bit. It is always going to be a problem because the site attracts new members by the bucket load. Duplicate posts are not the end of the World and gently informing newby's that the post has appeared elsewhere would be alot better than alot of the rude replies that go on. Complaining and moaning about a post only keeps it high on the page, so it is best left ignored rather than drawing more attention to it. That is what I think anyway.

I posted a Walkears Wembley free music tickets promo. Next day found it had been moved into a previous thread from Walkears for sport tickets. Together with some sinde comments about searching. The thing is I did search. I also had only just received the email from Walkears and wanted to share it. The closing date was different to the original footie promo and the day they advised you if you win is this Friday the 8th and the last promo was advised on Friday 19th May.

I now can't even find the thread! And yes it was a person who does constantly moan about people doing searches and yes it has put me off bothering as if you are just going to get snide comments what is the point. Sorry this is a bit long winded but I was really upset.

dont cry......personally i dotn know why people moan about duplicate posts.I would have missed a lot of good offers on this forum, had it not been for duplicate posts.... having said that, i DO have an issue with duplicate post, if the posted by individuals who tell people not to duplicate posts....:rotfl: :rotfl:
