as adam2484 has pointed out theres already a thread on this
maybe a 'mod' could lock this thread, or merge it :rotfl:
I think you'll find that the thread adam2484 has linked to is a guide to using the freebie board which is actually the sticky I referred to in my post. This thread is specifically about using the search facility to reduce duplicate threads.A Fendi Baguette is not a sandwich.....

Did I say they were? We've asked are there specific problems with searching to help. I'm relaxed, thanks.

I agree that sometimes it is very useful to have a tip repeated. In the past I have clicked on a link, ordered a very useful item and noticed that people were criticising the original poster. As has been said before, not everyone notices things first time round. On the whole, posters are trying to help others on the site, not trying to irritate. Personally, I think that signatures purporting to be the "duplicate post police" could put people off posting, and then we all miss out.Just off the border of your waking mind, there lies another time ....0

its obvious where the problem lies- with the mods.
They rarely bother to clean up the forum, and their defense is that they are too busy to keep an eye on things. Sort of defeats the purpose really.0 -
I'm sure they'll be delighted to hear what personal payment you are proposing to make to them for their time in doing this, mascherano...0

These posts always get put up please search and it just does my head in when i see these posts as it wont help most people just don’t search at the end of the day. i just wish people wouldn’t put this all you should do is bump the other page up then the mod will see this as they are all in the same place and they can easily be merged thenQuidcoPaid;£989.08

Were supposed to be happy with the staus quo? I would contest that duplicate threads are the BIGGEST problem around here and cause more frustration to more people than any other glitches on the site. But if I dare to criticise the system you attack ME?0 -
You are getting stuff for free yet you're bothered about having to click a mouse button a couple of times to get it!
Lighten up peeps. Life is far to bloody short! :rolleyes:0 -

For someone who is new to the Chat Forums you seem to be very negative in your opinions. Perhaps you should settle into the forums before being so critical. Look back on your posts to date and see if they were really worthwhile.
