Looking for a cheap unfashionable smartphone
Ok, an odd thread title, but hear me out!
I currently have a Blackberry Torch 9860 on contract. I was very happy with it, until the touchscreen went on the blink and now won't work at all. I have tried all the fixes off the Blackberry forums, but I think its dead!
I have very little cash and so am quite happy to buy a less popular or superceded model (any make) to keep the costs down, however I would prefer to buy new.
I have looked on ebay and searched for things like the earlier Galaxy and iphone models and they seem to go quite cheaply (even the new sealed boxed ones.
I'm not really up on my phones, so I guess what I am asking is for suggestions of suitable phones to search for on ebay that would suit my needs (email, a bit of surfing, using forums etc - nothing major), that are less popular or older models and so would be cheaper
Oh, and I would prefer a larger screen. Thanks.

Huawei G300 was the best value for money smatrphone last year. I think you still can get it for lass than £100.0

Probably about £50. It's only really got to last 12 months until my current contract is up, then I can get a new decent one on contract.
