How much to ring/ring from a hospital phone?

When my late Mum was in Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport, the ward staff always recommended you ring the ward number and they would get the patient to come to the phone. They always said that it was much cheaper than using the special bedside phones."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

Just for info., my husband's £10 credit for his bedside 'phone lasted for two weeks for limitless calls and still had not run out when he left hospital! I think he got a little confused by what he had been told -the TV credit was separate (which he hardly used). All in all, not a bad deal.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0
