I've nearly done the same (although I don't have an ISA so the damage would be lower).
The problem is that you look at one account, then click on the payments section but it doesn't have any link to the account you were just looking at. I prefer it where you pick the account first, and then the payment link relates to the selected account.0 -
Don;t sweat it too much. ISA rates are appalling and the 123 current account gives 3% which after tax is not far off what you get in the best ISA at the moment.
(although agreed, S's inerface almost encourages thesekind of mistakes as you can;t see the full detail of the accout you are transferring from. I've done the same thing)0 -

Which is pretty much what happened to me.
Ah well. I've opened a Nationwide Flex account tonight, so will start shuttling £2500 back and forth. I'll try opening another one tomorrow. I already have the 123 accont and a Halifax reward. Time to set a load of standing orders up!:beer:0 -

Thank you.
I agree, the rates are terrible. I was more interested in keeping the money sheltered from tax in the future.0 -

A couple of people have told me they couldn't believe it was possible to be so stupid as to put petrol in a diesel car, until they did it.
I wasn't so hubristic, but I still did it.

I thought they stopped making petrol cars that take diesel nozzles, and vice versa, about a decade ago?0 -
The plot thickens....
I logged into my account this morning, and Santander appears to have transferred the £10K from my current account into the ISA! They told me that this couldn't be done, but it looks like they have had a change of mind.
