You stated that the OP hadn't been back since asking their question, and ThumbRemote simply pointed out that it had only been 9 hours. (and seeing as the question was asked at midnight and most people would have gone to bed around this time, not replying for 9 hours overnight isn't strange at all).

They may well have logged on for a short while before going to work, or may have been at work at the time and not have been able to reply yet.

Whatever the reason for not replying, I still don't think that 9 hours between asking a question then replying isn't excessive, especially if the original post was done last thing at night.
