My free Pipex upgrade

Have been with Pipex 1/2 Mb (Solo 500) for a year. It's been pretty reliable though I would say it goes down approx once a week or so (my PC is on a lot so I notice this). This isn't bad compared with its competitors.
They offered to upgrade me to 1MB for £15, whilst new customers would get this straightaway. I phoned and complained and after some long conversations (and broken promises of phone calls back etc) they upgraded me for free! Even better, although they upgraded me to Solo 1000 (1Mb) my connection icon indicates it's going in at 2Mb !
It's worth complaining about this! However I have to say that I am not at all impressed with there customer support. But the actual quality of the service makes up for this.
