Do make sure you remember to cancel as this is how they get you! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Thank you in anticipation.

Yes you can cancel the payment via your bank.
It falls under PSD (payment serviced directive)
As Bod points out stopping payment does not cancel the contract.
What you could do is email/phone them and tell them that you are cancelling.
Then should the worst happen and they take you to court (doub't it) you have a strong case as you have done everything you could to advise them.
Also these co's have a great scam. With the renewal. If you should access your account after you have cancelled then they have been known to reject chargebacks on the basis that the account has been used  Even though it was to check it was cancelled and nothing else.
Given its not working got the PSD route and let them waste time and money trying to get blood out of a stone.I knew I should've booked a weekend break to Pontins for the kids and I rather than trying to find love.
I bet you have more chance of true love at Pontins that via MatchNever ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
Not really advice to do with cancelling, but have you tried plenty of fish? I met my OH on there and moved in with him after 2 weeks!!!! :-o. Still with him 14 months later... and just moved into our dream home! I'd definitely give POF a try. Especially as its free!Any views are my own and may not always be correct - though i do try0
