Now, I have a Norwegian CC with 4% caschback on "transport" (flights, buses, ferries, trains, etc) based on mcc-codes, among others the following:

4789 TRANSPORTATION SVCS - DEFAULT
4011 RAILROADS
4111 LOCAL COMMUTER TRANSPORT
4112 PASSENGER RAILWAYS

Does anyone know if purchases from TFL are classified under any of these codes?

My American Express classifies it as 4111 Commuter Transport. I imagine a Visa or MC will aswell.

My MBNA card categorises it as PASSENGER RAILWAYS. It doesn't tell me the numeric code though.

Is MBNA a Visa card? Passenger Railways is code 4112, a code that goes under "transport" cashback for my card.

It is a MasterCard.
