Facebook again, it really does more harm than good, it is a destructive tool not a light entertainment forum as its portrayed

Where people go to sneakily slither a look at other people's photos and PM them when they're drunk.

The only good thing they've done is make it public when someone likes someone's photos now.

Oh my God, what a disgusting thing to do.

I'm so sorry that your husband did this, OP. He should have spoken to you in person and not aired his dirty laundry in public. What a moron.

If it's any consolation, everyone who sees it will instantly think the same.

Have you spoken to him yet?

Lower than a snake's armpit, even if he did it before you had your chat and agreed to work stuff out. I think I'd be finding that behaviour pretty impossible to forgive.

You need to speak to him about it, he could have done it cos he is hurting and wants to hurt you back, who knows, only he does so get talking, if you indeed are really sure you want to try harder. What he did is wrong but only you know if it's the deal breaker.

I don't like facebook and do not use it as well. He might do it out of anger. When you are angry with someone you might shout: I hate you and I am going to kill you. However, it is just a way to release anger and I am sure you won't kill anyone. I mean for most of the people. Do not think too much of a social media. Some people unveil themselves on web media or some other people put on a veil. Your husband might not mean anything particular but just his being angry with you or disappointed with the disputes. His attitude to you in daily life means more. For example, if he normally hugs you behind during sleep, does he still do this now? If he keeps you inside while he walks on the outer side facing the traffic normally, does he still do this now? There are many daily routine traces which show you a more clear picture of your current relationship than a social media.

hi was it him that def changed the status, it has been known for people to leave page open on face book and someone else does naughty things to the account. very childish if he has done it himself though without speaking to you first.facebook causes all sorts of problems thats for sure.

I think I would be tempted to write a comment on his fb page asking him to confirm if this means his marriage is really over so that there would be no need to tell all his nearest and dearest as he has already told them, but forgot the important one 'the wife'

Maybe not, but it would be nice to see the look on his face wouldn't it, when all his mates realise he has made a complete !!!!!! of himself.

I struggle with the concept of Facebook.

Why - when you live with a person - do you need to go online and look at their Facebook status etc? You live with the person so surely any "updates" should be in conversation in real life???

What has happened to society where we see it as normal to live our lives behind a computer screen.
