Moving house- No TV and cable service available in new address

Hi All,
I currently use phone/cable/TV bundle from VirginMedia and current contract will end in Nov. 2013. I will move to a new place where no cable or TV service is available.
I called VM and they said if I want to leave then I have to pay 150 pounds. If I decide to stay with VM then I have to pay 45 pounds for installation.
Is there something I can do to avoid the early-cancellation penalty? I still want to use VM in my new home but there won't be any TV and cable service available. It is simply unfair that I have to pay for cancellation of service that VM could not even provide?
Any thoughts would be really appreciated.
Thanks.

Its not unfair Im afraid, you are in contract and have decided to move to somewhere that will not have access to there services, that is not virgins fault that they cant provide the service, they are limited to there service areas and other constraints.
£45 is better than £150.

How can VM connect you to a service that is not available at the new address?
Or is there VM cable in the area/street which just needs connecting to the property?
If the latter then refer to John's reply re £45 and £150.
If it's a non cabled area then you're £150 down unfortunately.0 -

This would be via their national service which provides phone and broadband.
Do some checks on what is availible in your area with Sky - you may be better off paying the £150 and then getting Sky installed. Via TopCashBack they are doing up to £181 cashback plus £25 M&S voucher for new customers.0
