Claim for car

I have received a claim form from a finance company that Ford credit sold my car loan to. It was a hire purchase, actually.
I have filled in the Admission form and suggested that I can make payments on a monthly basis but at a reduced monthly rate. My hearing is set for the end of the month.

I have sent the form to the finance company (IDR Finance) but my question is: Is there any way I can convince the judge to let me keep my car? Im unemployed and in a very difficult situation, so I do not want to squeeze out the monthly payment for the car if they are taking it away from me!

Please help!

Thank You!

If you have finance secured on the car, then of course the HP company are going to look to repossess the car. It is unlikely a judge will let you keep what you can't pay for.

By what process of logic do you arrive at the idea that someone should let you keep something that you have not paid for, and apparently are unlikely to be able to pay for, in the future.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

I agree with 27Col - Looking at your previous posts you have been unempolyed for a year now. You have clearly struggled to pay all your commitments.

Have you now found a job to support the monthly repayments? If not Ford will not allow you to keep this vehicle and repossession is inevitable.

I haven't found a job, unfortunately; however, I have started receiving help from a charity organisation. I have told the finance company that I can make regular monthly payments but at a reasonable rate. They, however, are demanding full payment of £3600 immediately.
The reason I posted this question is to find out if there is any leniency shown by the judge in this matter or whether there have been any similar cases where the person was permitted to keep the vehicle on agreeing to make monthly payments.

    Its none essential so nope
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Didn't you already have exactly that agreement in place?

Remarkable that you intend all the donators of charity pay for your car whilst you sit back unemployed.
Where is it you need to go if you don't have a job?

Shall we have a whip around on here? I'm sure you deserve a holiday somewhere nice rather than watch daytime TV.

OP do you have anyone who can guarantee your payments?

What sort of payments should you be paying and what would you be proposing? How far into the agreement are you?

Are there any PPI or other insurances added onto the agreement?

Are there any faults with the car?
