but speedtests were at 0.03 and kept dropping connection.. the brightbox might have shown that but wasn't given me those speeds

Yes I would recommend EE BB to others, I pay £17 a month for unlim BB, Anytime Calls + International Calls, + LL to Mobile Calls. I did have to transfer my LL to EE when the 2nd line service was stopped, but after checking with other providers for the same service, it was the cheapest.
I also had a problem with slow speeds about a year ago, when I was still with BT for my landine, but that was BT's fault not EE, a new cable had to be laid from the road to my house.0 -
An update on my connection woes...
Ee sent out a bt engineer who found no fault with the line.
A few days later they sent out a broadband engineer who found the fault and fixed it.
Speeds seem to be back to normal and the connection no longer drops off conpletely.0
