As your overdraft/reserve on average remains the same and doesn't grow after thousands ££ going through your account, it's more a habit rather than a necessity.
Sell stuff, cut the spending to the limit for some time, find some temporary extra job and pay it off. Then forget about it existence and never go overdrawn in your life.

It might be worth ringing for help. I got a reserve when they first started them and found myself dipping into quite soon. My overdraft was larger, £1800, so only dipped in towards the end of the month but soon had a 2200 overdraft. The branch manager was useless, tried to get me a mini mortgage secured against the house. I ring the call centre, he froze the reserve fund and arranged a payment plan over 8 months to pay it off. I still have the orginial overdraft but no reserve fund now.
I would query about getting a bigger overdraft, 150 isn't a lot.0
