I'll get a letter sent to PE to let them know who the driver was. Is there anything further to your example to put in the letter?
Reading through some of the process that others are going through, I am beginning to wonder whether I actually have a proper defence or not....
No this letter should just be you saying 'this is who was driving = name and address. Add that by doing so you know that this means you can no longer be held liable, as proceedings have not been started, so they must now write to the driver alone and cease all contact with you.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yep I agree with that, if they start a court claim in the RK name they'd be knackered as they know who could be liable ie the driver. And they can't go after the driver until they've gone through all the processes they normally do, so you will have the time to do a popla appeal. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
