I was recently awarded a BLue Badge. I have been looking into what other things it will entitle you to and though to start a thread.
So far I have found out;
Edinburgh Zoo - I pay but partner gets in free as my carer, same for Loudon Castle, Glasgow Science Centre. I think this is also the case up and down the country - I also got a free bus pass because of Blue Badge.
There must be others too.
Post below to pass on the details.
Thanks All

At Battle Abbey, if you borrow one of their (free) scooters to get around on, then you go in for nothing.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -
London eye - carer goes free.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0

A lot of theatres/cinema's have concessions for disabled people (inc blue badge i think), as do some music venues.
I've got a feeling Whipsnade (and probably London) Zoo's allow a carer to get in free with a disabled concession.
If you've got DLA mobility you can also get a disabled rail pass (about £18 a year and gets a 33% discount for the holder and one other on most tickets).0 -
Chester Zoo carer goes free. And Camelot theme park I think!0

pleasurewood hills nr great yarmouth carer free and also kew gardens
i think a lot of places will let a carer in free if u produce yr blue badge (course then how do u park in the disabled spaces with no badge to display

l-j - Did you get the Blue Badge because of motobilty DLA? I saw that one of your posts said that you were awarded lower care DLA. My sister has just received that so could she get a blue badge? She wasn't awarded the motobility bit.0

If you need to use the Severn Crossing (M4 to South Wales), you don't have to pay the toll.0

Most Cinema's will let the carer in for free if you have an exhibitors card ... Has saved us a fortune over last couple years
