problem with speaker on new dell laptop

Hi every 1,
Well as i said in an earlier post i got my new dell laptop yesterday, but ive noticed tonite that the sound coming from the right speaker is quite crackly, the left 2 seems to be fine, and ive not even got the volume up high and its really annoying, as soon as i do use anything that has sound you can hear it, before i contact dell i just wondered if there was anything i could do to try and sort this, or is it better to be left to the experts ?

thanks

It's new, so should be flawless in operation. Call Dell and have them replace it. You know it makes sense! ;)
It could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.

    Best of luck to you!

I've spent a week being passed from one department to another at Dell and they are all in India! I still haven't resolved my problem and now I don't know who to turn to.

I bought a desktop 2 weeks ago but had problems immediately with the monitor flicking on and off. I asked them to replace it but they said all they could do was refund it and I would have to re order it. I have tried to re order it but the offer is no longer available! I've told loads of people all I wanted was the PC REPLACING but I'm getting nowhere.
