Someone used my address to obtain a BT account - Help!!

At the begining of this month, I had received a letter from BT stating that someone had opened up a business account using my address.
I foned BT up and complained that surely this is fraud because the name of the person on the correspondence doesn't live here, and that this was a residential address and not a business as the name of the business was on the correspondence.
I foned to complain about this on the 9th May and was told that this matter would be investigated.
On Saturday, yet another load of correspondence came to my address, still with the strange person's name on it.
I am about to fone up BT and complain, yet again.
Does anyone know what else I can do about this?
I am concerned in case this person might be using my address for obtaining credit.
Very worried.

Return everything to BT, marked "Not known at this address". That should suffice.
PS. Phone has a PH not an F."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

David“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of BT. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -

Sent you an email and you failed to respond. Waste of bloody space. All I can say is dont send any bills to my address for someone who doesnt live here, as they will be returned with "NOT AT THIS ADDRESS" on them.0 -

If you were a little less ready to jump to (erroneous ?) conclusions, your problem may well be solved.
Your first post didn't mention that BT had already told you what to do - why then post on here about it ?
It may have escaped your notice - but it is a bank holiday weekend, much as you would dislike it BT staff are entitled to get holidays as well.
The "quote", above, from your last post is:
a). What BT told you to do in the first place.
b). What another post told you to do.
............your response ? to start swearing and ranting.......AGAIN !0 -

...........you seem to think that any company complaint/help desk will immediately drop everyone else's problem and sort yours out instantly ?
apart from which, the OP has already been told - twice, what to do..............0 -

No, you asked the OP whether it has escaped their notice that it was a bank holiday weekend.
Fine, if they had posted in the past couple of days, but they posted on Tuesday, plenty of time for someone/David to get back to the OP even just to tell them they had received their message and were going to get it looked into.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

Have not heard from BT regarding this matter.
In future, any more correspondence for the unknown person at my address will be sent back with "NOT AT THIS ADDRESS" on it.
Its a bloody disgrace that someone can use my address to open an account and yet BT have not looked into the matter, and when I phoned to report it twice they didnt want to know!!
Disgusting!!0
