That's what I mean in #9 above. Proper back street one man band motor factors still don't have everything in stock as their back room is not big enough.

This may be the first actual case of anything actually being delivered, let alone on time, by Yodel.

If you really don't like Yodel, CarParts4Less now offer UPS delivery, however my Yodel delivery was very a similar experience to UPS deliveries.

Most of the local car shops around here tend to hold a decent amount of stock of the common parts they sell quite a lot of for the common cars, if they don't have the stock of the item (as an example I need a 9" rear wiper blade for the Megane and they didn't have it in stock (this was at 2.30pm on a Thursday) and said if I call back at 3.30pm he would have one in stock for me - true to his word he had the wiper in stock).

If I need any parts and they don't have them in stock they can usually get them the same day (subject to time of ordering) or first thing the next morning. Even ECP and CP4L don't stock every single item for every single car at all their branches (some items are to order for next day delivery or even longer lead times..)

ive ordered plenty and always been next day delivery.. never had any issues with yodel..
