Dialaphone have amaized me again!
Options
I hve just completed two 12 month contracts on T Mobile and sent my last casback claim on 16th May first class signed for, the first date that I could.
On the morning of the 17th I received SMS messages on both phones to tell me that the cashback had been authorised.
Today 23rd of May - I got my cheque. That's 7 days or 5 working days from posting my claim to receiving my cheque. None of this 45 day rubbish I've been hearing about with some other online retailers.
The few problems I've had with their cashbacks have been resolved quickly and effectively by both DAP and me working together.
That is the way it should be!

Have to agree with HugoSP DAP do send cashback cheque amazingly quickly, at least in my experience.
Posted my claim on Tues 8th May had the cheque on Monday 14th.
I think other cashback retailers should also adopt similar turnaround schedules, even other reputable ones are gradually extending turnaround times.Examine what is said, not him who speaks.0 -
TBH I suspect that this is because they don't offer near 100% or 100% cashbacks like a few of the other retailers do, so their margins are not as tight.
I reckon I've got a good deal with them. Nokia 5300 on T mobile Flext 35 (£120 per month allowance) 12 month contract. It's costing me a net of around £10 per month or £120 per year after all planned cashback etc. I got the Nokia bluetooth headset as well. If I bought the phone and headset on PAYG I think it would have cost me slightly more than £120, and I would have had to pay for all my calls.
After 6 months we have the option to downgrade our tarrif for the remaining term, so T Mobiles £35 line rental could come down to £25 IIRC, so for the last 6 months we could effectivly get free line rental. I may yet do this with one of the two contracts, but not the other.
After the 12 months is up we of course have the option of selling the phones on e bay. I am soon to dispose of a Motorola V3 and possibly a Nokia 6111, unless I can pursuade my daughter to have one of these. However I reckon one can knock off around £30 to £50 off the cost through selling the 5300 in 12 months time.
Most importantly with DAP I know that problems are rare and easy to resolve. That in itself is worth paying a few quid for. I can earn several times the extra 'saving' with a competitor in the time I would have to spend extracting payment from them.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -

Can you confirm whether the Nokia 5300 came unlocked on T mobile and did it have any T mobile branding on the handset?Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -

Yes I can confirm that the Nokia is unlocked on T Mobile - I tried a Vodaphone sim card in it and it worked.
There was no T Mobile branding on the handset.
