I had four members of staff look at it at Waitrose before finally deigning to ring it up0

Tesco would not take the voucher tonight.0

waitrose wont even accept their own coupons from their own newspaper..
I've never had a problem with Waitrose accepting vouchers but I have had instances where a free product voucher scans at a slightly lower value than the price of the product.
Although I did have one instance of a cashier saying "I've not seen one of those before" in a newly opened Waitrose store where the voucher said only valid in Waitrose, which could be interpreted as a polite way of saying "Where did you get that from?"0 -
Redeemed my coupon in Spar this morning, the checkout teenager was a bit reluctant but when the supervisor arrived he scanned the barcode and said 'What's your problem?' to him0

Hooray, it's working. Voucher printed. Does anyone know if this can be used with a bottle of Sprite Zero? I don't drink sugary drinks. If not I'll get a bottle of the normal stuff and pass it on
Used mine in Tesco tonight and got Sprite Zero without any problems. They are currently £1.15 each or 2 for £2 :beer:0 -

I tried to use mine in the co-op and it wouldn't scan. The man asked the person on the next till "Should I accept this?" to which she replied "I don't know. I've not seen one of those before." He then asked someone else who said "Yes as long as it's not expired."
I don't know why vouchers should scan in your co-op branch but not mine.0 -

The size of the bar code shouldn't affect whether it scans or not. Look at the size of a bar code on a Nectar/Tesco CC key fob compared to the size of one on a card, yet both scan the same.0 -
